Martin Shaw, Business Development Manager presented data on the application of the assay of Thymidine Kinase and its assay with the AroCell TK 210 ELISA in his presentation:
Improved Studies on Malignancies with a Novel Proliferation Biomarker – Thymidine Kinase 1 and AroCell TK 210 ELISA.
Thymidine kinase 1 (TK1) is a valuable biomarker that has been used to study malignancies for many years, however, most current methods rely on measuring the enzyme’s activity and so are complex and may under-estimate TK1 in subjects with solid tumors.
In his presentation, Martin reviews the literature on TK1 in the study of malignancies and discusses the possibilities introduced by the development of immunoassays for TK1, particularly using the AroCell TK 210 ELISA kit.
Data is presented on results obtained using the AroCell TK 210 ELISA kit to study hematological and solid malignancies.
Martin Shaw also participated in the panel discussion on the development and application of complementary and companion diagnostics.
The Congress is live from 9 AM Pacific time February 21 for three months
